Sale Alert
Sorry this is a bit late but for those who don't know, sephora is having their BI(Beauty Insider) Sale at the moment. Offer started on April 12 and will end on April 19 (coming Monday). The Ghost...?!
Hi everyone! Yes, it's me! I haven't posted since last year 0.o...oops?! Actually I've been busy with classes and since it's my second year, the workload has been tripled. I'm in the middle of finals right now but it won't be long before I start posting regularly again. This time I will actually be posting other stuff beside hauls XD. I really shouldn't have started blogging during the start of a school year...I wanted to post other stuff but all I had time for was haul posts as they are the fastest and easiest to put together. When summer starts, I will be doing reviews on some perfumes, circle lens, and of course makeup ,,<(^0^)>,, <-that's my version of a birdie hehehe.
I probably won't be buying any clothes since I'm trying to lose some weight. Honestly, university may be feeding my brain but it is doing nothing to keep me healthy XD. My mom's been harassing me to lose some weight and I've been noticing that my energy level has dropped considerably. In order to live healthier and more active without driving myself crazy, I'm limiting my intake of snacks and got myself a gym membership. Have you ever felt the urge to run faster because the person beside you is speeding up? hehehe I'm totally pressing the speed button every time the dude next to me presses it XD...but the sad part is that I always have to slow down sooner than the dude/dudette because I have no stamina T_T. ULTIMATE FAIL.
During my time of absence from blogspot, I've tried lots of different stuff. As you may know, my favorite foundation brand was Laneige. I do still like their foundation but they are a little on the drying side and the sunscreen in the formulation is making me look ashy. I am currently using MAC studio sculpt foundation in NC20 and have been using it for 2 weeks now. A review will be up in the future. I might also post my beauty products collection (makeup and skincare) but that really depends on the demand. I can't say that I have a lot of stuff but I do have "more than I should" as quoted by my mom. As I fall deeper into my makeup obsession I've been trying out more drugstore brand makeup, especially foundations. I prefer my MAC shadows and would LOVE to own some NARS shadows as well...they are soft but has a very limited colour range. When my tax return cheque comes in I might go pick up a few.
Recently I've been eyeing some fragrances at Sephora. To name a few, Princess by Vera Wang, Brit Sheer by Burberry, ETERNITY Summer By Calvin Klein, and one other from The Grace fragrance line are on the top of my to try list. I've been looking for one that is more on the subtle side. A fruity flora combination without vanilla since most of mine do have it and the scent is a bit to warm for summer. From the Harajuku Lovers line I've been wearing Baby the most often because it reminds me of baby powder and is least fragrant of the five. Music is by far the sweetest of the bunch which smells like a mixture of syrup and candy. My top two scents from this collection would be Baby and Love; they are the most wearable and the least sweet. If you are looking for a sweet vanilla scent then you should check out G. Since the weather is continually getting warmer, I find the HL fragrances too strong. Due to the ongoing Beauty Insider sale I went to Sephora to sniff some perfume and I found Ocean Lounge by Escada. It has a light fragrance but mostly has notes of pineapple, mango and papaya which is super refreshing. Also it was on the sale rack so it was half off in addition to the 15% BI discount. I ended up paying under 40 bucks for a 3.3 fl. oz or 100ml bottle ^^. I was going to get Brit Sheer because that one smelt really nice as well but I just couldn't skip this deal! I have until April 17th before the BI sale ends so I'll have to think it over. On the other hand, even if I decide to get it after the sale we can in a way dupe the sale XD.
With my rewards card I could actually save more money by getting it from Shoppers Drugmart. The lowest level of redeemable rewards is 7,000 points which is a $10 discount. That alone is already equivalent to the BI 15% off sale. If I were to redeem the next level up which is $25 discount (15,000 points)and that's double of the BI sale (33%).
Anyways I just realized how long this post has gotten so I'm going to stop here and maybe do another one when other things pop up XD. God I ramble on FOREVER. =P. Bye Bye
